Young at ARt
Mainsail’s Young at ARt Student Exhibition features the best artwork from students throughout Pinellas County in grades K through 12. Student artwork is juried from hundreds of pieces of artwork submitted by teachers from public and private schools. The student show judge selects twelve Awards of Excellence for outstanding artwork for grades K-12.
Young at ARt 2017 Awards
This year’s Young at ARt Student Exhibition featured the best artwork from students throughout Pinellas County. Student artwork was juried from hundreds of pieces of artwork submitted by teachers from public and private schools. Certificates of Merit were presented to all student participants.
In 2015, Mainsail and Young at ARt added the "Young Masters Award" providing scholarships to 12th grade students who have exhibited an outstanding talent in their genre to assist them in furthering their academic endeavors in the arts. These students, in addition to being winners in the Pinellas Region Scholastic Art Awards and having their portfolios judged during their national competition in New York, will have their work exhibited alongside the Young at ARt tent at this year's show. Mainsail is excited about being able to participate in the Scholastic Art Awards and honor some of our local students who have excelled in this competition.
Young at ARt is proudly sponsored by the Mainsail Art Festival committee and the Law Offices of Gregory H. Fisher.
